Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

Today, the San Francisco 49ers face their toughest test of the season in the Denver Broncos. Even if the Broncos haven't looked as good as they did a season ago, Peyton Manning still looks an awful lot like Peyton Manning, and that's always a cause for concern. That said, I find myself strangely ... confident heading into today's game. The Broncos are one of the NFL's top teams, but the 49ers hold wins over a couple teams that are looking pretty good this year. Better than they looked against the 49ers anyway.

That said, there's plenty of worrying injuries, of course. I'm not even sure what to expect out of the offensive line anymore. The good players are playing poorly and the bad players are playing ... better than the good players. Everybody is hurt and the 49ers don't have Patrick Willis. This one could be rough.

Onto your links. Go Niners.
