Week 8 NFL schedule: PM slate includes Eagles-Cardinals

We've got a new thread for this afternoon's Week 8 action. Our 49ers are not playing, but we've got a big matchup for a division-mate. The first place Cardinals host the Philadelphia Eagles, arguably the biggest test Arizona has faced since defeating our 49ers in Week 3. Even with that win in hand, I'm not entirely sure what to make of the Cardinals. A win over Philadelphia would certainly give them further bonafides. I keep expecting Arizona to slip back to earth, so we'll see if this is when it happens.

Other than that, we have a pair of AFC games, although I think both could provide moderately interesting. The Raiders are playing a bit better under Tony Sparano, and the Browns, while inconsistent, are make things at least a little bit interesting. In Pittsburgh, the Steelers will look to build on last week's home win over the Texans, while the Colts look to take further control of the AFC South.

Here is your full afternoon game schedule. We'll have a Sunday Night Football thread a little after 5 p.m. PT.
