Golden Nuggets: Here come Alex Smith, A.J. Jenkins and the Chiefs

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning everyone. The San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs this week and I'm pretty sure an ex-49er is a prominent player on the AFC West foe. I think his name is A.J. Jenkins or something along those lines ... what a homecoming this must be! OK, but in reality, I'm actually kind of surprised by the general lack of talk about Alex Smith. I mean, there's obviously some -- a lot, even -- but way less than I expected. I think it's good that there's not a whole lot of this ... I doubt Smith is thinking about the 49ers much anymore. It's kind of pointless.

Anyway, I'm going to just dive right into your links for the day, as Super Smash Bros. came out this morning and I'm going to play that instead of doing my job. Because that's just how I am. Onto your links, folks!
