Today, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. I wasn't able to do my usual investigation into the team, unfortunately, so I hope that won't have an affect on the 49ers. As it turned out, my fiancee's days off didn't line up well enough to go outside and make some Kansas City BBQ. My stomach is thoroughly unhappy with these developments.
But the 49ers will soldier on without my help -- somehow. I'm sure today is going to be filled with talk about Alex Smith and the fact that the 49ers traded him and that's fine. I think 49ers fans as a whole really don't care about the storyline at this point, but then again, we were going to watch this game without the narrative, yeah?
In all, I feel pretty good about this game. I think it will all come down to whether or not the 49ers' offensive line bounces back. Kansas City is too good in those third and long situations. Let's get to your links for the day.
