Keep talking guys. Keep saying that there's a rift in the Niners locker room. Keep talking about how players want Jim Harbaugh gone. Because if the last 2 performances were any indication, it looks like they still play hard for their coach. After a 1st win at Levi's Stadium last week against the unbeaten Eagles, the Niners took care of the Chiefs, who were coming off an impressive demolishing of the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football.

The formula for the last 2 wins has been simple. Feed the ball to that #21 in the backfield. Frank Gore ran for 107 yards on 18 carries. The offense had 171 rushing yards on 40 carries. This is the identity of the offense. They acquired weapons on the outside to help with their passing game, but they cannot ignore the running game. Gore and Carlos Hyde set the tempo for the offense and frees the offense to throw. The passing offense didn't have a great game, but they had key moments. Stevie Johnson's TD gave the team a lead before halftime and the stunning leaping catch by Brandon Lloyd in the 4th quarter helped setup the go ahead field goal.

The defense played another good game and Perrish Cox sealed the win again with an interception on an Alex Smith overthrow. They kept Jamaal Charles under a 100 yards rushing and kept the Chiefs scoreless in the 2nd half after the De'Anthony Thomas touchdown early in the 3rd quarter. They only committed one penalty in the game. So please come up with another story before next Monday night. Because these Niners have been playing well with all these stories circulating.
