It's time to shut it all down. Jim Harbaugh had the comment of the day on Thursday during his conference call with St. Louis Rams media. This came a few hours after Jeff Fisher had a fairly dry call with Bay Area media. Coach Harbaugh got on the topic of Justin Smith, and he had this to say:
Jim Harbaugh on Justin Smith: "Chuck Norris calls Justin Smith, ‘sir.’" #49ers

Over the years, we've cribbed on "Chuck Norris Facts" to come up with Patrick Willis Facts (2008, 2012). Coach Harbaugh took it one step further with his comment, and nailed it.
Justin Smith remains an absolute beast on the field, and you could argue he is playing better than he has since 2012. He suffered a triceps injury late in the 2012 season, and then a shoulder injury early in the 2013 season. This is the first time since mid-2012 he has been fully healthy. The 49ers have additional reserve options to help keep him fresh, and it will only increase as the season wears on. We might eventually see Tank Carradine in the mix, but more importantly for this year, we should see Glenn Dorsey by November or December. This line will be ridiculous, but even without the reserves, there's always Cowboy.
Fooch's Update - He also had this gem:
#49ers Jim Harbaugh to STL media on if rumors about his future are distraction: "No, that just seems like warmed-up oatmeal to me."
