The San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams each released their first practice participation report of Week 6. There are no shocking revelations, but there is some pertinent information. The most notable in my mind is that wide receiver Michael Crabtree is not listed on the report. He was listed with a foot issue last week, and had a quadricep issue the week before.
Crabtree has put up some big numbers against the Rams over his career. He has 39 receptions for 662 yards and six touchdowns. His 16.97 yards per reception is the third highest of his career against a single team (18.83 vs. Buffalo, 17.67 vs. Denver). Crabtree's last MNF appearance was last season against Atlanta. He hauled in 5 receptions for 102 yards. The previous season, in two MNF appearances he had 8 receptions for 103 yards and 3 touchdowns.
As we discussed earlier, Vernon Davis was back on the practice field, albeit listed as limited. Anthony Davis and Tramaine Brock both did not participate. My guess remains that both return after the 49ers Week 8 bye. They might get in some practice before then, but I don't anticipate seeing either in game action before the bye.
