Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning everyone, tomorrow afternoon the 49ers face the battered and beaten Rams for the second time in four weeks. The Rams have not been a good team all season, and got worse when they lost Chris Long and Brian Quick for the season. The trade deadline deal for Mark Barron of the Buccaneers helps, but he hasn't been great since coming out of Alabama.

At the moment, the 49ers are ten point favorites at home. And while I would rarely take a double digit spread in a divisional game, I am not too worried about the Rams. I know, crazy after what we saw the last time the 49ers played football.

Patrick Willis is going to be a game time decision with the toe injury he suffered against the Rams, but is optimistic he will be able to play. The Aldon news we all want to hear isn't coming this week, and Bowman is still a few weeks - at least - away from being able to contribute. So Willis is probably the best player on the roster and getting him back should do wonders for the defense.

Real predictions have done wonders as long as I don't pick against the 49ers. So I feel good about this one: 49ers over the Rams 31-17. To the links!
