Panthers vs. Eagles 2014: MNF game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football to close out Week 10. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT on ESPN, and will feature Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden in the booth, and Lisa Salters handling sideline work. The Eagles are a touchdown favorite.

The Eagles currently lead the NFC East with a 6-2 record, and a win would keep them a half game ahead of the Cowboys. The Panthers are 3-5-1, and a win would move them a few percentage points back of the Saints in the NFC South. The 49ers have wins over the Eagles, Cowboys and Saints, but will not play the Panthers. There are seven games remaining, so it is too early to tell exactly what playoff tiebreakers will come into play. For rooting purposes, we want to see the Eagles lose. The more the Eagles and Cowboys lose, the more likely the 49ers end up tied or better than them. With wins over both teams, that bodes well for San Francisco.
