Bills vs. Dolphins: TNF game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Rob Foldy

The NFL is back for Week 11, with a moderately intriguing Thursday Night Football game. The Miami Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills, in a matchup between 5-4 teams. They are tied for second in the AFC East behind the 7-2 New England Patriots, and bunched up in a huge logjam for the two wild card spots.

While we have spent plenty of time talking about the NFC playoff picture, tonight's game is a good excuse to check out the AFC playoff picture. The Patriots lead the way at 7-2, with the Broncos also 7-2, but second due to their head-to-head loss to the Patriots. While those two seem like virtual locks for the playoffs, the rest of the AFC playoff picture is jumbled up. Here are the standings heading into Thursday Night Football:

1. New England Patriots (7-2)
2. Denver Broncos (7-2)
3. Indianapolis Colts (6-3)
4. Cleveland Browns (6-3)

5. Kansas City Chiefs (6-3)
6. Cincinnati Bengals (5-3-1)

7. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4)
8. Baltimore Ravens (6-4)
9. San Diego Chargers (5-4)
10. Buffalo Bills (5-4)
11. Miami Dolphins (5-4)
12. Houston Texans (4-5)
13. Tennessee Titans (2-7)
14. New York Jets (2-8)
15. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9)
16. Oakland Raiders (0-9)

That is a pretty stacked playoff race. The NFC features eight teams clearly in the playoff race, with the 4-5 Minnesota Vikings hanging around, and the 3-6-1 Carolina Panthers and 3-6 Atlanta Falcons still in the NFC South race. Either way, there are more playoff caliber teams in the AFC than the NFC.

The game kicks off at 5:25 p.m. PT. It will once again be broadcast on NFL Network (no CBS) with Jim Nantz and Phil Sims in the booth and Tracy Wolfson on the sideline. The Dolphins are a four-point favorite, with the over/under set at 41. The Bills are 4-1 ATS in the last five games between these teams, but 2-4 ATS in the last six games in Miami.

Game time: 5:25 p.m. PT
Channel: NFL Network
Announcers: Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, Tracy Wolfson
