Today, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the New York Giants, in one of the most winnable games of the season. The Giants are obviously a talented football team and shouldn't be overlooked, but the 49ers should win this game. That said, the Giants typically play the 49ers pretty hard, and there are some big weapons on the offensive side of the ball, especially with Rashad Jennings returning from injury.
Though I guess players returning from injury is a difficult concept for most of us here to grasp given the bad news we keep getting about 49ers players. At least there was some good news on Saturday, as outside linebacker Aldon Smith was activated to the 53-man roster. That said, I don't expect big things from Smith in his first game back. He'll come in, take some nickel snaps away -- hopefully from Ahmad Brooks and not Aaron Lynch -- but his snap count should be very limited.
Let's get to your links, though.
