The San Francisco 49ers head into Sunday's game against the New York Giants having made several roster moves. They did not end up activating Glenn Dorsey from injured reserve, so look for him to come back next week. However, Aldon Smith is back, while Jimmie Ward and Patrick Willis were both placed on season-ending injured reserve.
With all that in mind, I thought I would put together a bit of an updated depth chart so we know who is playing where for the 49ers. There are not dramatic changes, but players have moved around a bit. The 49ers PR department releases a depth chart, but it is not entirely accurate. The depth chart below reflects injured players that will not play on Sunday, but are still on the 53-man roster. After that, I thought I would take a look at the potential inactives for Sunday's game.

The 49ers will likely activate Glenn Dorsey in the next day or two. NaVorro Bowman is expected to return to practice this week, but he will remain off the 53-man roster during that 21-day practice window. Ian Williams is rehabbing his fractured fibula, and there is no word yet on if he will end up on injured reserve, or return later this season.
In the meantime, here are some guesses on the inactives:
NT Ian Williams
CB Tramaine Brock
OLB Dan Skuta
QB Josh Johnson
S L.J. McCray
WR Bruce Ellington
OLB Chase Thomas
