49ers-Washington injury report: Vance McDonald added, Anthony Davis still sitting

New, comments

The San Francisco 49ers continue to wait for Anthony Davis's return from his concussion. On their latest practice report, he was once again a DNP. The 49ers also added Vance McDonald to the report. We break down both team's injury reports.

The San Francisco 49ers and Washington released their Thursday practice participation reports, and we have a few small changes of note.

On San Francisco's side of things, Vance McDonald was a new addition. He is listed as limited with a hip injury. Glenn Dorsey was downgraded from limited to DNP. Earlier in the day, Vic Fangio said he was lacking that oomph he needed to play on Sunday. I expect Dorsey to be listed as questionable, and not play on Sunday.

Anthony Davis did not practice once again, which is not a good sign for Sunday. He will likely need to get a practice session in on Friday if he is to play against Washington. If Davis is unable to play on Sunday, Jonathan Martin would start in his place at right tackle.

On Washington's side of things, linebacker Trent Murphy was upgraded to full from limited. Guard Shawn Lauvao was upgraded from DNP to limited. He suffered a concussion this past week, so getting some kind of practice in is a good sign for him.
