49ers edge Washington: It wasn't great, but it was good enough

The San Francisco 49ers continue to find ways to win ugly, and as frustrating as that can be, it still has resulted in a win each of the last three weeks. They have a lot of work to do if they want to actually do some damage in January, but for now they are at least keeping the dream alive. That's something.

The 49ers head into a short week, getting ready to face the Seattle Seahawks in a matchup with huge divisional and wild card implications. For now though, the 49ers can celebrate a good day, as they improved to 7-4 and kept themselves in the thick of the playoff race.

With the Win...

  • The 49ers improved to 22-6-1 at home in the regular season under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
  • The 49ers improved to 3-2 all-time at Levi's® Stadium.
  • The 49ers improved to 20-10-1 against Washington all-time.
  • The 49ers improved to 3-0 against Washington in the regular season under head coach Jim Harbaugh.
