The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released inactives for Thanksgiving and there are no significant surprises. Following the 49ers decision to activate Garrett Celek and promote Asante Cleveland, the team has deactivated Vance McDonald. They had placed Derek Carrier on injured reserve, leaving them with just Vernon Davis. It remains to be seen how much we will see of the 49ers 2-TE sets given that Celek has not played in a game this season.
The rest of the inactives are as expected. Anthony Davis did not practice this week, and so he sits out as he waits for concussion symptoms to go away. Jonathan Martin will start in his place. Tramaine Brock was limited in practice, but he is still out with his hamstring injury. Perrish Cox and Chris Culliver will start outside, and Dontae Johnson will get the nickel role.
49ers inactives: QB Josh Johnson, WR Quinton Patton, DT Glenn Dorsey, CB Tramaine Brock, OT Anthony Davis, WR Bruce Ellington, TE Vance McDonald
Seahawks inactives: CB Jeremy Lane, OLB Kevin Pierre-Louis, LB Allen Bradford, C Max Unger, DT Travian Robinson, TE Cooper Helfet, TE RaShaun Allen
