The San Francisco 49ers were embarrassed on national television on Thanksgiving, and the embarrassment continued in the post-game show. As has become tradition, turkey was handed out to players of the game. In this case, Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman were the ones honored for their performances. Rather than do something quick on the sideline, NBC set up a table at mid-field and conducted the honoring and post-game interviews there.
One 49ers legend was less than pleased with this situation.
Not sure who's idea it was but #Seahawks cuda shown some respect n not celebrated with turkey at midfield last night. #norespectfortherings

Yep, Jerry Rice was pissed about it. I'm fairly certain this was happening no matter who won the game, and it just so happened that it was the Seahawks. It sucked to see it happen, but what are you gonna do?
After the game, Richard Sherman had plenty to say about the 49ers fans. He talked about how they were vulgar and how they were mediocre fans. The 49ers have their share of both good and bad fans, but the Seahawks are no different. Of course, the Seahawks won, and with victory comes the spoil of trash talk. And so, we're left to and wonder what the rematch in two weeks will bring. I am not overly optimistic about the 49ers chances up in Seattle, but maybe they'll shock us.
