Golden Nuggets: The 49ers won't allow 8 sacks again ... probably

Friday, November 7th, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning folks. I spent a solid two hours doing nothing but making GIFs of Colin Kaepernick getting sacked by the St. Louis Rams. I had dreams about it last night -- Kaepernick getting sacked, fumbling, the Rams scoring touchdowns off of them. That bit didn't happen in the game, of course ... I just can't get over eight sacks in a single game.

There's just no excuse for that, and I'm even beyond criticizing the actual offensive line. San Francisco allowed the bulk of the sacks in the first half and there really should have been some kind of adjustments from the coaching staff. Maybe there were, but whatever it was, it didn't work. The Rams have a talented defensive line, but they've been striking out when it comes to the pass rush all year. That game was in excusable.

Anyway, my other sack breakdown will post later today. The first was posted yesterday. Let's get on to your links for the Nuggets.
