49ers vs. Saints: Time for 49ers to turn this thing around

The San Francisco 49ers face the New Orleans Saints in Week 10, marking their third straight season at the Superdome. The 49ers are a 6-point underdog, and look to get back over .500. We've got all the nuts and bolts for the game, as well as an open thread for discussion.

The San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints square off at 10:00 a.m. PT in a pretty huge Week 10 matchup for both teams. This is the third straight season the two teams have faced off in the Superdome. The Saints won in 2013, while the 49ers won in 2012. The 49ers come into the game at 4-4, and in the midst of a 2-game losing streak. The Saints are also 4-4, but are riding a 2-game winning streak with victories over the Packers and Panthers.

The 49ers are a 6-point underdog in this game, with a line that has increased as the week progressed. The 49ers defense is playing solid football, but the offense has struggled considerably this season. They will look for some semblance of consistency as they face a fairly average Saints defense. The Saints have a strong pass rush from Junior Galette and Cameron Jordan, so that will be something to watch.
