We interrupt your regularly scheduled panicking about the 49ers' implosion to add even more wood to the fire...
Thanks to these "insider reports" by ESPN's Adam Schefter and FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, there are now vultures circling closely above the allegedly expiring status of Jim Harbaugh's coaching tenure in San Francisco. Okay, vultures might be a little melodramatic—those could be Thanksgiving turkeys or maybe even Seahawks. But add these to the rest of the media-created circus around the 49ers this year, and you just might have life imitating gossip.
Even if all of this is speculation, what it does is plant tiny seeds in the minds of the team's decision makers, with Jed York being the most important one. What he wants to do with his personnel is anyone's guess, but one thing we do know is that any decision Jed makes is with the aim of bringing the 49ers back to winning the Super Bowl.
