The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks released their inactives for Week 15, and the 49ers will be fairly thin at a couple positions. The team has deactivated both Tramaine Brock and Chris Culliver. Additionally, the team deactivated Anthony Davis and Marcus Martin.
The 49ers promoted CB Marcus Cromartie and OG Andrew Tiller from the practice squad on Saturday, and those moves make more sense today. CB Dontae Johnson will join Perrish Cox in the starting lineup, with Leon McFadden handling nickel duties. Cromartie will handle the dime. Joe Looney moves into the starting lineup at center, with Dillon Farrell now serving as the primary backup interior lineman. Tiller will serve as depth
The 49ers moved NaVorro Bowman and Glenn Dorsey to injured reserve on Saturday, and previously moved Vance McDonald to injured reserve on Tuesday. That opened up the spots for Cromartie and Tiller. The 49ers have left Seattle with numerous injuries in the past, and now they come into it with significant injury issues. They face a tough matchup, so we'll see how it works out with such limited depth
