Golden Nuggets: Rooting for a win regardless

I know that the San Francisco 49ers have a good defense and all, but it still was kind of disheartening to watch the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans combine for a much-better looking offensive performance than we usually see with the 49ers. Those are bad teams going against bad teams, of course, but we've seen the 49ers look much, much worse against worse teams (Oakland, Washington).

Anyway, this week, the 49ers will play the San Diego Chargers on Saturday. I've seen some people hoping that the 49ers lose the game for a better draft slot but honestly, I can't ever bring myself to root against the 49ers. I want them to win every single game they play, including Saturday's tilt against the Chargers. That said, I obviously don't expect them to win given how they've been playing of late.
