Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

We're back for another week of Niners Nation FanDuel fantasy football. We did not have an NN-specific league last week, but rather did a Thanksgiving SB Nation league. This week, we're back with the 88-spot NN league. There is a $5 entry fee, with prizes available to the top 15 finishers. First place wins $100, 12th-15th win $12.50. If you haven't joined FanDuel, set up an account with your NN username so we know who you are. If you have any questions, feel free to fire away in the comments.

If you are just joining for the first time, use the promo code SBNATION32 when it provides that option in the joining page. You can get a 100% deposit bonus, up to $200.

Once you've entered, you're given a $60,000 salary cap to fill out your team. You can pick the best players like Peyton Manning, but they're also the most expensive. That leaves you with less cap space for other players. You need to find some sleepers, but the key will also be finding that one game where a few players blow up. It's a roll of the dice, but if you think the Broncos will go big on the Bills, maybe you add Peyton Manning and Demaryius Thomas. Or if you think the Saints will have a huge performance at home against the Panthers, maybe you go Drew Brees and either Jimmy Graham or Marques Colston.

There is the notion that you want to spread out your risk, but doing so would mean you need more games to hit. Maybe you strike out by loading up your eggs in fewer baskets, but you also could score in a big way.

There are only 88 spots in the Niners Nation league and we fill it up every week so hop in if you want to play. Later this week, I'll post my lineup for people to see how I am looking at it. You can join now and change your lineup later if you are so inclined. And as always, if you have any questions, let me know in the comments.
