Seahawks vs. Cardinals 2014: SNF features huge NFC West matchup

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The NFC West comes down the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, and Week 16 Sunday Night Football will play a huge role in deciding the outcome. If the Cardinals win, they clinch the division, as well as home field throughout the playoffs. If the Seahawks win, they clinch a playoff spot, and move into a tie with Arizona atop the division. More importantly, they would hold the tiebreaker over the Cardinals due to their head-to-head sweep.

The Cardinals are in all sorts of injury trouble, and have been all season. They will likely roll out Ryan Lindley at quarterback, following injuries to Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton. The Cardinals are 11-3, but are home underdogs by the biggest margin ever for such a team. They have been playing all season with a "nobody believes in us" chip on their shoulder, and Bruce Arians has led them through that to the division lead. Can they spring what would be a pretty huge home upset? I am skeptical, but I have somehow been skeptical of them all season. This should be interesting.
