Vernon Davis with some words of wisdom

Social media allows for all kinds of random stuff to show up. Some of it is interesting, some of it is funny, and some of it is bizarre. Vernon Davis posted something today on Instagram that amuses me to no end. It actually makes some measure of sense, but it makes me think of something else.

Here is what Vernon posted on Instagram, with the caption, "If this don't motivate YOU, then I don't know what to tell you. #inspiration"

When I saw that, the first thing I thought of was the scene from The Office where Michael Scott is standing in front of this sign:

And really, it makes me think of any instance where Michael Scott drops some words of wisdom. The way Vernon pushes his brand, and just some of the ways he talks reminds me of Michael Scott from time to time.
