Anthony Dixon states his free agency case on Twitter

49ers running back Anthony Dixon had a few thoughts about his case as a free agent running back. He had plenty to say on Twitter.

NFL free agency is a little over a week away, with the "tampering period" opening next weekend. In the meantime, aside from the illegal tampering that we know already happens, players can sell themselves to the world through Twitter. We didn't have much in the way of random tweets today, but Anthony Dixon had a few thoughts about his case as a free agent.

I would be surprised to see him return, given the 49ers depth at running back, and what I have to imagine is Dixon's own hope for more playing time. There are a lot of interesting storylines heading into free agency, and I actually think Dixon is one such storyline. Will someone decide to give him a chance in their running back platoon? Or will he end up boxed in as a special teamer with some added benefits? It will be interesting to see what the market dictates.
