Not a lot to read about as usual since we're still more than a month away from the NFL Draft. Just some thoughts from newly resigned 49ers kicker Phil Dawson about the new rule proposals affecting kicking, and also a scoop by Matt Maiocco from Trent Baalke who categorically denies that the team contacted Philadelphia about DeSean Jackson. This completely makes sense since acquiring Jackson would be well outside Baalke's established modus operandi. Trent also makes it clear that he and Jim Harbaugh "work very well together." We also have a short but informative video interview of Coach Harbaugh talking about Jonathan Martin whom the Niners just traded for.
Phil Dawson has a point: 49ers kicker leery of possible rule changes (Barrows)
These media rumors about the 49ers are getting tedious. | Baalke: 49ers have not contacted Eagles about Jackson (Maiocco)
Look who works well together, in spite of media reports that they do not. | Baalke: 'Jim and I work very well together' (Maiocco)
