Good ... late-ish morning, everyone. I asked or a couple days off for the Golden Nuggets about a week ago and forgot what days I asked off, so after missing Thursday's, I went ahead and almost missed today's as well. I'm really great at this writing on time thing, yeah? Sorry about that.
Anyway, I'm not even going to get too much into what's going on with Chris Culliver ... I always knew the guy was prone to making stupid decisions here and there but even if only half the things that are presently alleged to him are true ... yeesh. I'd much rather push that aside and focus on something that was generally overlooked yesterday: the reports that the 49ers are considering a new contract for left tackle Joe Staley.
Staley is hugely important going forward and I'd say he's more important than getting Mike Iupati signed to a long-term extension. Maybe I'm just a crazy person and that's not the case, but it's what I think. Fortunately, I doubt Staley is approaching anything remotely near being unhappy or holding out or something. On to your links.
