San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker Aldon Smith posted $20,000 in bail, and was released by the LAPD Sunday evening. TMZSports.com had some video of Aldon as he departed the police station. Their article used the usual hyperbole, describing Aldon as "[H]e looked pissed. Really, really pissed." Aldon probably was in a bad mood, but I don't see pissed in this. His lawyer said he wouldn't talk, and he simply ignored the paparazzi guy. Of course, TMZ also used the headline, "49ers Star Aldon Smith -- Ready to Explode ... On Way Out of Jail", so I suppose they just can't help themselves.
There is no word yet on a court date for Smith.
