Fooch's Update: 49ers schedule has been released!
Pro Football Talk is reporting that a source told them the NFL will release the 2014 schedule as soon as next Tuesday, April 22. Although April 22 is the target date, there is a chance it could still be shifted to Wednesday, April 23, or Thursday, April 24. There had been some speculation the schedule would roll out this week, but NFL PR man Brian McCarthy shot down those rumors on Monday.
We'll have plenty of discussion about the schedule when it arrives, but in the meantime, it's prediction time. The St. Louis Rams are actually offering $100,000 to the person who can guess their schedule including the order of teams, and the specific days of the week for each game. The odds are insanely long, but I'm sure they'll get people giving their best effort.
Here at Niners Nation, we won't ask you to pick the exact day of the week, but feel free to put together what you think the 49ers schedule will look like. I have no idea what games will end up where, so I'll give it the ol' college try. Buck Niner put together his own predictions with some additional commentary in this solid FanPost.
