Good morning ladies and gentlemen. It sounds like no new crazy, ridiculous thing happened regarding the San Francisco 49ers yesterday, which I guess is the best thing we can hope for at this point, right? The sooner this offseason is just ... over, the better. From arrests to suspicious incidents to Jim Harbaugh and Trent Baalke drama, I think I've reached my limit.
Of particular note is the report that Aldon Smith may get suspended. I respect Ian Rapoport and believe there's generally truth to everything he reports, but I can't imagine this report actually comes from league sources so much as it comes from him just thinking Smith will be suspended. There's no way the league has made a decision so quickly after that incident, especially with a court date on the horizon. But hey, maybe I'm just an idiot.
Anyway, onto the links for the day.
