Golden Nuggets: 49ers have favorable schedule

Friday, April 25th, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. This is my first edition of the Nuggets since the full schedule was released and I have to say: I like it. This is the first time I've genuinely liked the 49ers' schedule in a long, long time. I think there's only one negative quirk with this schedule, and that's a short week with a Seattle Seahawks game ... and then another Seahawks game two weeks later.

That part of the schedule is grueling, but I like the first few weeks and I really like the Week 8 bye. I guess, looking at it, this schedule is tougher based on winning records last year and the like, but it doesn't feel like it compared to last season. Whatever the case, I like it a lot. I talked about it a bit on the Niners Nation Podcast yesterday, so check that out.

Anyway, onto your links for the day.
