NaVorro Bowman talks about his knee, Seahawks and more on Sportscenter

NaVorro Bowman was on ESPN and ESPN.com over the course of Thursday. He talked about his rehab, the loss to the Seahawks and more.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman "took over" Sportscenter Thursday morning, making appearances on Sportscenter and in a live chat on ESPN.com. The video above is one segment from his time on Sportscenter. He was on a couple different segments, but this is the only video I could find. If you can find more, drop a link in the comments.

The promotion for his Sportscenter appearance included a mention that he had something to say about Richard Sherman. Dylan DeSimone was watching the segment when it re-aired, and tweeted this:

Sherman celebrated with a cheerleader after an interception up in Seattle. I can't remember if it was this past season, or the year before. I don't generally think of pom poms when I think of Sherman, but I suppose it could stand out if he did that to you as an opposing player.

He reinforced the idea that he is ahead of schedule on his rehab. He said he looked to be running in a pool in the next month or month and a half. When asked about timetable for return, he wasn't committal, but he did acknowledge that he knew the coaches and trainers would make sure he did not overdo it. The general belief is for a midseason return, and he did nothing to dispel that. We'll have to wait and see what the late summer brings, but I continue to expect him to start the season on the PUP list.

Bowman also took part in a chat on ESPN.com. You can view the full transcript.
