We're back for the 50th pick of the 2014 Niners Nation Community Mock Draft. You can see previous picks below in the draft table. You can also follow the mock draft board through this story stream.

With the 50th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, albert.55 and the Miami Dolphins select Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin. He also considered Nevada offensive lineman Joel Bitonio, and Auburn running back Tre Mason. Here are his thoughts on the pick:

For this pick I considered getting another O-lineman such as a guard to help bolster the depleted Dolphins line, but the depth of the draft for O-line had me go to ILB instead. Reason being is the lack of quality ILB. Borland isn't the athletic type of player that is usually needed for this position, but he plays smart and his motor is always running 100%. He can stuff the run and cover his space well for coverage. His smart play style means that he will rarely get called for a flag, which will help go a long way and can hopefully pass on to the rest of his teammates.

Trevor Woods: The Dolphins need help at inside linebacker, and this is the range that Borland should be drafted. The Wisconsin linebacker is undersized at 5'11", and doesn't have great speed, he's a blue collar football player. He will have his limitations in coverage but should be an adequate run defender at the very least. Borland is a smart football player, so where he lacks in ability, he makes up for in his football smarts

Nick Chiamardas: Borland is drawing comparison's to former Dolphin great Zack Thomas so it's only fitting he ends up in South Beach. Borland is a two-down middle linebacker who is stout against the run. Scouts have dinged him on his size and lack of sideline-to-sideline speed but in a system where he can come of the field in passing situations, Borland's instincts and relentlessness will help him find success.
