Good morning ladies and gents. The 2014 NFL Draft is here, which means we'll have plenty to talk about for the next week or so, and then we'll be back to complaining about how the season is some inconceivably long time from actually coming around. The San Francisco 49ers drafted 12 players and I gotta say, I'm excited about many of them.
I think the 49ers hit on my players, including Jimmie Ward, Carlos Hyde, Marcus Martin, Bruce Ellington and Aaron Lynch. I think all of those guys can be significant contributors relatively quickly. The only pick I don't particularly care for is Chris Borland in the third round, and I can't claim much knowledge of either Keith Reaser or Kenneth Acker, so I'm undecided on those.
Personally, I'm very excited for what Shayne Skov can bring to the table. If you didn't know, the 49ers went out and brought him in as an undrafted free agent (take that, Oakland Raiders). Anyway, we're going to jump to your links and what not. Post any in the comments if I missed some (which I will).
