The San Francisco 49ers have settled into the bulk of the offseason workout program and rookie program, which means most transactions are finished. The 49ers are likely to make a handful of transactions between now and the start of training camp, but the bulk of the 49ers roster is set in place. any remaining moves are likely to cover players in the very back end of the roster.
A week before the 2014 NFL Draft, I put together a quick approval poll for the 49ers football operations. Naturally, people were overwhelmingly positive. 88% approved of the job football ops was currently doing, 5% did not approve, and 8% were not sure.
Now that we're past the draft, I thought it made sense to put together another approval poll. Same question, same answer options. Do you approve or disapprove of the job the 49ers football operations is doing as we speak. Or maybe you don't know. There's nothing wrong with that answer if you're truly not sure. The idea though is to look at football operations right now, and the job they are doing at present. And again, rather than just make this a Trent Baalke poll, we're looking at the entire group. It's a whole team putting this together, so the assessment is of the group as a whole.
If you need a reference for the 49ers offseason work thus far, I've put together an offseason tracker that covers every transaction of the offseason. It also includes the full 90-man roster at the bottom of the page. I've been updating this the last couple months, and will continue to do so as training camp approaches.
