Good morning ladies and gents. As of today, we're officially less than a week away from the 2014 NFL Draft. I'm getting incredibly excited, primarily because I won't be on shift on the first day of said draft and will be able to use my command center for nothing more than nerdy 49ers-related excitement.
I still haven't paid a whole lot of attention to mock drafts around the Internet, and really have no idea who the 49ers will be drafting. This year, I spent much of my time pre-draft looking at players the 49ers likely have no interest in -- namely the top quarterbacks -- for my job with the SB Nation mothership. So draft day is really going to be confusion, but also a pretty great surprise, I think.
Of course, I have my ideas regarding which position and all that. I actually think the 49ers won't be going wide receiver in the first round, unlike what many seem to be suggesting. I think that pick is a cornerback. But I'm wrong like ... a lot. So let's get on to your links.
