Golden Nuggets: 49ers have 3 more unsigned draft picks

Friday, May 23, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Jonathan Ferrey

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. We're getting awfully close to that point in the offseason where we go long stretches of time without any new links. Throughout the next couple months we'll have our headlines here and there -- let's hope they're positive, given the way this offseason has gone for the San Francisco 49ers thus far -- but don't be surprised if you see a lot of repeat links in the Nuggets.

San Francisco now has the majority of its draft class signed, as both Jimmie Ward and Chris Borland signed deals on Thursday. That leaves just Marcus Martin, Brandon Thomas and Bruce Ellington unsigned. Speaking of the guys that signed, I'm still really excited to see what Ward can do this season. If I wasn't poor, he'd be the first jersey I'd be buying official ... for six or seven years. Not too sure about Borland, though.

Onto your links.
