We're back for the 59th pick of the 2014 Niners Nation Community Mock Draft. You can see previous picks below in the draft table. You can also follow the mock draft board through this story stream.

With the 59th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, Roy_from_Israel and the Indianapolis Colts select Terrence Brooks, S, Florida State. Here are his thoughts on the pick:

The Niners stole the Colts' best safety. And we are very grateful. In return, I'm giving them a true FS. LeRon Landry played FS for the Colts last season, and what he has in speed, he lacks in coverage ability. He is more of an extra speedy SS. Brooks, on the other hand, gives the Colts a rangy defender who can play both man and zone coverage effectively, unlike Landry.

Between Landry and Brooks, the Colts have one of the fastest, most athletic safety tandems in the league, both of whom can make plays against the pass and run. On the downside, it is unlikely that they will see many interceptions out of the two, because they both have trouble catching the ball once they have their hands on it. I don't feel like that will be too much of a problem though, because this is still a fast, athletic safety that the Colts are adding to another fast, athletic safety.

The addition of Brooks would instantly upgrade the Colts defense, both in pass coverage and run support by allowing Landry to move down to SS, where he's better. As far as alternates, the Colts could use OL help at all 3 positions, but especially 1 guard and 1 tackle. Gabe Jackson and JaWuan James are the best player available at each position, respectively, but Luck is a good enough QB to survive without the best OL, allowing the defense to improve. On the defensive side of the ball, the line is also an area of concern, and an upgrade of Ricky-Jean Francois would be a good pick. Stephon Tuitt fits nicely in Chuck Pagano's 3-4. I'm sticking with Brooks, however, because I think he fills an immediate need. While the acquisition of Bethea is par for the course for the Niners, the addition of Brooks and Landry's move down to a more linebacker-like position is an upgrade for the Colts.

Trevor Woods: After losing Antoine Bethea to the 49ers in free agency, the Colts need more depth at safety behind Laron Landry. Brooks isn't a ballhawk safety, but he has upside in coverage and his aggressive style bodes well for stopping the run.

Nick Chiamardas: Brooks is a converted corner who really excelled in the FS role for the Seminoles in 2013. A steady off season of impressive workouts Brooks has vaulted his stock into the second round. The rangy safety will give the Colts speed in the secondary and a surprising measure of physicality despite his average size.
