Golden Nuggets: Here comes the NFL Draft ...

Sunday, May 4th, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

USA TODAY Sports

Good morning ladies and gents. We're just a couple days away from the 2014 NFL Draft, where the San Francisco 49ers will likely pick someone that will make everyone go "huh?" That seems to be the way the 49ers usually do things (hey A.J. Jenkins) -- many people questioned the Aldon Smith pick at the time as well. I suppose that's not the best example given all of the offseason issues though, right?

Whatever the case, I'm getting excited. I'm going to spend the next few days catching up on all the film and scouting of things I missed  so I can be properly disappointed when the first round comes to a close. Not that I don't have faith or anything, I'm just like everyone else in that I'm totally susceptible to getting a pretty sizable draft crush.

Anyway, let's get to your links for the day -- of which there are few new ones. Slow Saturday, so we'll have to re-hash some stuff.
