We're back for the 60th pick of the 2014 Niners Nation Community Mock Draft. You can see previous picks below in the draft table. You can also follow the mock draft board through this story stream.

With the 60th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, dave.bocchino and the Carolina Panthers select Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State. He also considered Nebraska cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, and Ole Miss wide receiver Donte Moncrief. Here are his thoughts on the pick:

The Panthers have 3 glaring needs on their roster with WR, OT, and CB all getting depleted in the offseason. One reason for that depletion was the lack of cap space and the inability to pay free agents. This means getting value at every pick is important for Carolina if they want to remain successful. Drafting a WR in the first round allows me to target either OT or CB in Rd2. One player getting a lot of hype, and rightfully so, is Stanley Jean-Baptiste of Nebraska. He would fit well into the Defense, possibly better than Captain Munnerlyn, and would be a heavy hitting presence behind Kuechly and the rest of the front 7. Since he went 9 picks earlier to Da Bears though, I decided to go with Billy Turner.

Turner is part of the reason I decided to pass on Moses in the first place. I knew he was likely to be available by pick No. 60 and he's got greater pure athleticism than both Moses and Kouandjio. In watching his game film it shows that he's got quick feet and great ability on getting to the 2nd level and outside on swing blocks. He also does a decent job of creating a pocket for the QB to step into and throw. He may not be as big as you would like, but he'll only grow stronger as he gains more experience in the league.

In the selections since drafting Allen Robinson, 6 more receivers have gone off the board but only 4 more offensive linemen. This makes securing a WR first and OL 2nd seem like a better value strategy over drafting Moses in the first and then a WR in the second. If Carolina follows a similar strategy on draft day I think they will end up with one of the better draft grades this year.

Trevor Woods: After losing a plethora of offensive lineman in free agency and retirement, the Panthers desperately need offensive lineman. Turner won't be ready to start from day one, as making the leap from 1-AA football to the NFL is usually a tough transition. With that said, he's an intriguing choice because of his big frame at 6'5" and 315 lbs. If he gets a bit stronger and improves on his technique. The Panthers could also choose to look for a cornerback here, or even another receiver, they need more help at both positions.

Nick Chiamardas: Perhaps the one area of concern for the Panthers above the receiving core is the offensive line. Turner has the skillset to be a first rounder but playing at North Dakota State will have some question his ability given the level of competition. That would be a mistake. Excellent pick up.
