The 2014 NFL Draft is only three days away, which means the 49ers will load up the final 17 roster spots. The depth chart will continue to adjust as we move past the draft and into the summer, but before the 49ers add as many as 17 players through the draft and undrafted free agency, I figured it would help to have one as a reference point.
Some of the reserves might not be slotted exactly right, but this gives us a general idea of things. Upwards of half these guys will not be on the roster when final roster cuts happen, but most of them will get some opportunity to show something in the preseason.
Once the draft is a wrap, I'll post an updated depth chart. For now, here you go!
