Trevor's notes:

I was satisfied with Robinson at thirty. In this scenario of no trading up, the 49ers find themselves in a situation where there isn't a corner they should grab at the selection. I love Robinson and he could become this years Keenan Allen, becoming a threat for opposing defenses to account for. In that ideal situation of productivity, the 49ers would have a dangerous receiving corps, now having a receiver with enough speed to stretch it down the field, as well as good height to be a back shoulder and jump ball threat. I expect the 49ers to trade up. Unfortunately Sammy Watkins will more than likely be out of their range, but options such as Justin Gilbert, Mike Evans, Odell Beckham, Kyle Fuller, and Bradley Roby will be in a feasible range for a trade up. Out of those players I would be all for Gilbert, Evans, as well as Kyle Fuller. We will find out Thursday!

Nick's notes:

It's unlikely the 49ers stay at No. 30 but if they do they'll have quite a few options. There are still plenty of receivers available that most Niners fans would be happy with. The good news is that two of the deepest positions in this draft are receiver and corner. Adding Roby with the 30th give the 49ers speed they currently do not have in the secondary. Roby can also come in right away provide some help in the return game. He'll add starter quality depth to a secondary still taking shape.

Just to give you an idea of some prospects that may very well be available on the second day (second and third rounds) that the 49ers could target:

WRs: Jordan Matthews, Allen Robinson, Kelvin Benjamin, Donte Moncrief, Davante Adams, Jarvis Landry, Bruce Ellington, Martavis Bryant

Edge rushers: Demarcus Lawrence, Marcus Smith, Jeremiah Attaochu, Trent Murphy

DL: Stephon Tuitt, Kony Ealy, Dominique Easley, DaQuan Jones, Caraun Reid

OL: Marcus Martin, Weston Richburg, Gabe Jackson, Trai Turner

DB: Lamarcus Joyner, Deone Bucannon, Phillip Gaines, Pierre Desir, Bashaud Breeland

With the abundance of talent that will be around come day two, don't be surprised if the 49ers end up trading back (although that would likely mean they were unsuccessful in trading up which I doubt they will. If they want their guy, they'll get him.)

Alright...how'd we do?
