Good morning everyone. There's not a ton going on with the 49ers right now so the links are a little light even for this time of year. The 49ers brought in two coaching interns in George and Bob Whitfield (no relation) as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship. Bob is a former NFL offensive lineman who played for 15 years and George was a QB guru that has been hired by various QB prospects during the draft evaluation process. He has worked with Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, and Johny Manziel in the past and according to Matt Barrows, this hiring falls in line with Jim's philosophy of "striving to get 1 mph faster all the time."
The other piece of news from the day was pretty amazing. Jim and Sarah Harbaugh starred in a pretty hilarious commercial raising awareness for the dad pants epidemic. They were advertising Dockers (which unsurprisingly is a subsidiary of Levi Strauss) and it just works, Jim was amazing even without any lines and if you haven't already seen it, I highly suggest the Christian Gin link below. Now if you all excuse me, I'm going to spend the next month or so being obsessed with the World Cup that kicks off later today. So lets not waste any more time and get to those links.
