Golden Nuggets: Levi's Stadium is Nearly Ready

New, comments

Monday, June 23, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of 49ers links from around the web.

San Francisco 49ers

Your San Francisco 49ers team is coming into Training Camp with a deep and healthy roster. Our hope is that this upcoming trend will continue and be a significant improvement from last year's injury woes. The team will be stepping into their brand new home field, Levi's Stadium, for it's inaugural season and the final preparations are nearly complete. Levi's boasts to be the most technologically advanced and ecologically friendly stadium built so far.

I personally can't wait for the first preseason game, just to see how the stadium plays and looks on camera. You can bet that the covering networks will have special features prepared telling you about Levi's and it should be interesting to watch. I hope they get all the kinks out during the preseason, so that the 49ers can focus solely on winning and the #QuestforSix. Mean time, here are your links for the day:

Chris Cook has been competing well in the off-season which is exactly what the 49ers coaching staff expects from every body they bring in. | Pick & roll: Chris Cook working to erase bad-ball-skills reputation (Barrows)

I'm including this link not because I want to resurrect the Alex Smith vs. Colin Kaepernick debate, but as a comparison since Kap just got signed and Alex is in the middle of negotiations for his new contract.
