Earlier this week, Colin Kaepernick signed a 6-year contract extension that will keep him with the San Francisco 49ers through 2020. There were a few reactions from some players on the team via Twitter, but it turns out there were a couple reactions on the local news.
49ers Scout.com editor Chris Biderman came across one of the unintentionally funniest things you'll see today. KPIX, a local Bay Area station went around looking for fans to discuss Kap's contract extension. They were out and about when they spotted a pair of guys wearing 49ers hats. They decided to interview them to measure the pulse of the average 49ers fan.
Of course, it turns out those two guys were offensive linemen Joe Looney and Ryan Seymour. KPIX got their names, and yet still did not know who they were. They did not include a caption for Seymour, but Looney got a description as "49ers fan" while they spoke with him. Looney's wife grabbed some quick Instagram video of each of their segments, and this has officially made my day.
