We're still at the slow point in the off-season where team activities are voluntary and not much is trickling out from the media. There is still some discussion of how Colin Kaepernick's "creative" contract will affect future mega-deals and how he will perform over the length of this deal. As for Colin, he did take some time with family to celebrate his new deal. There are also a few (emphasis on the 'few') whispers coming out of OTAs and even a few pics on social media. Once mandatory team activities begin, we should get a slight bump in news items, but till then we will have to patiently suffer through our #firstworldproblems.

I'm still on the fence about an NFL Development League, but I guess it is an alternative to playing college football while getting some sort of regular compensation. | Developmental league has support, no launch plan (SacBee)
Mandatory attendance for players are coming soon and in the case of the 49ers, we will have to look out for Vernon Davis and Alex Boone's attendance. | Seven teams holding mandatory minicamps this week (PFT)
