Michael Crabtree might believe in the Madden curse

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman took home the cover of Madden 15 in last week's final round, defeating Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. The Sherman victory had plenty fuming about whether they would buy Madden with Sherman on the cover.

For others, it provided an opportunity to have some fun with photoshop. I came across a few solid options, and people made some of their own beyond those. Since then though, we've seen a few more pop up. A new favorite of mine showed up on Reddit earlier today. I tweeted it out this morning, and people generally seemed to like it.

One person wasn't quite so sold on it. Someone tweeted the picture at Michael Crabtree, and he had this to say:

It would seem that Crabtree is a believer in the Madden Curse! I'm sure he is not the only NFL player who believes in the curse, but it's still kind of funny to see someone verbalize it. It's always interesting to ponder these things, particularly when it involves a player in the game talking about it. It's just kind of crazy, random and a little surreal.
