World Cup 2014: USMNT vs. Belgium

New, comments

The United States Men's National Team faces a huge test today as they square off against Belgium in the World Cup's Round of 16. This is the final match of this first knockout round. The winner faces Argentina, the loser heads home to wait for the next World Cup in Russia.

The US Men's National Team is an underdog against Belgium, and it would be a sizable upset if the USMNT pulled this one off. They can claim the upset, but it's going to take one heck of a performance, particularly by Tim Howard. The US is sort of playing with house money at this point, so we'll take what we can, right?

The game kicks off at 1 p.m. PT on ESPN and Univision. If you aren't in front of a TV, you can watch online either through the WatchESPN app (if your cable provider is included), or through Univisión En Vivo. I highly recommend the Univision version of the game. If you like having the announcers explaining everything, by all means, check out ESPN. But if you just want to hear an announcer going bananas for most of the game, Univision is the way to go. I don't know enough about soccer to care about the terminology. A guy screaming about the game in Spanish is highly entertaining.

And thanks to @49ers for the fun photoshops for the game:
