Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Training camp is getting closer and closer, which means the lack of links is soon to be at an end (which is both good -- because we get interesting stuff to read -- and bad -- because I have to pay more attention when I do the Nuggets).
As I mentioned on the latest podcast, I can't seem to get over the running back position. Every time Fooch emails me to get a post done, all I want to do is write about the running backs, even though I don't really have any new information on them. I just think it's the most interesting position on the team right now, and even a couple years down the line.
There's a bit of competition down the line, of course -- the interior guard and swing tackle spots, the wide receiver position and the cornerback position are all key points of interest over the next few years. But the running back position can go in so many different directions I'm essentially obsessed. I'm sure we'll talk about it more and more as training camp approaches.
Oh and the final game has now been played at Candlestick Park. Joe Montana threw a game-winning touchdown to Eddie D. Yep! Onto your links for the day.
