Good morning everyone, all rookies and first year players including Marcus Lattimore, reported for training camp yesterday. This is a week before the rest of the team is set to show up, and along with the Ravens and Bills, is the earliest around the league for players to report. I for one can't wait for the action to finally start picking up. Baseball, Basketball and the World Cup have kept me occupied over the last few months, but I really need my fix. Football really can't get here soon enough.
I'm happy that after the news last week of the end of Candlestick that I get to talk about something more upbeat for a change. At 11:30 this morning, the 49ers will hold the official ribbon cutting ceremony to open Levi's Stadium. Roger Goodell is expected to be in attendance, as well as the 49ers, and representatives from Levi Strauss. The first event set to take place at Levi's is a MLS match between the San Jose Earthquakes and Seattle Sounders on August 2nd. I wasn't able to get season tickets, but I think I'm going to be able to attend a few games this season, I can't wait to finally get down there and check the place out. Now lets get to those links.
